The meeting held a match in 3 parts in the special 500 cc class between Sealand and Funen, which Funen won 26 – 19 points.
The 2nd part was remarkably when 3 of the 4 starting riders fell at the same time and the 4th never reached the finish line.
Hence the match was decided by 2 of the 3 parts only. For Funen Herlov Gitz with 12 p. and C. O. Jensen with 11 p. were top scorers. For Zealand Poul Sander and Lindegaard Jensen scored 7 p. each.

Mid 1948 until spring 1949 the secretary of trade Jens Otto Krag ridiculously banned all motor sports events in order to preserve the fuel reserves in Denmark. Therefore only this meeting got staged in 1948
June 6th 1949, Season opening:
The ban was lifted, 9000 fans gathered round the track to watch Kiehn Berthelsen make an attack on Ejner Persson’s track record – without success, the record survived. A single crash hit Norton Hansen, who after a couple of minutes to regain breath was ready for the restart.
The popular rider ”Norton” Hansen found the world at Loeng a little ”upside down”.

June 26th 1949, 2nd meeting:
6000 fans attended the meeting. The young JAP rider Peder Nielsen from Slagelse made an unsuccessful attempt to beat Ejner Persson’s track record. His time was 1,55,0 minute.
Then Kaj O. Hansen from Copenhagen should attack his own track record for midget cars. The drama came when he made a faulty entry to one of the curves and the car rolled over. After few minutes rest he made a more successful attempt. The time was 2,02,2 minutes, 1, 1 second better than the old record.
More drama came up when junior rider Regnar Jensen fell in a curve. His bike caught fire. He escaped unhurt; the same did not apply to his bike:

August 28th 1949, 3rd meeting:
More than 7000 fans got a lot of drama for their money. In particular the sidecar pilot David Axelsson contributed to the fun when he with his famous Dania JAP bike in the exit from a curve got so much grip that the bike made a great leap forward, which caused the passenger to slip and be dragged behind the sidecar. Eventually he fought himself back into the sidecar, and the pair finished the heat in the best sidecar time of the day.
This deed will not be diminished considering the fact that both pilot and passenger were well over 50 years old then. Winning the junior class the young rider from Slagelse Erik Wincentz had a convincing debut. The JAP rider Joergen Petersen made an attack on Ejner Persson’s track record, but in vain. His time was 1,53,8 minute.
Hard to believe that a modest advertising like this could draw t
he attention of so many fans to the track.

June 11th 1950,
Cancelled. Unfortunately the organizer neglected to convey this message to the public. On the very day a number of fans stood impatiently waiting to no avail in the parking lot. A flood of angry letters followed this incident.
August 6th 1950. The very last meeting.
At that occasion the chairman of the Korsør club announced, that from 1951 it was expected to be able to organize speedway meetings on the track at newly erected athletic stadium in Korsør where facilities for the public would be much better than at Loeng. The rider Uno Jensen from Copenhagen made an attack on Kiehn Berthelsen’s track record, but his time 1,52,9 minute was far away from any record. The veteran Hans Hansen from Naestved got a fine return to track racing.
